An unexpected visit by Brett Cave of Atlanta, USA to HCI was another exciting time for the children. Although the children were expecting her visit  there was no preannounce time to. Therefore no one was expecting. The call came at about one hour to the start of the daily clinic. Unknowing to the children there was a surprise in store for them. Brett arrived at sharp 4pm local time and talked to the children. She told them about been following their activities through Yusef Aziz of Back2Basics Basketball. She also told them that she is highly encourage by the participation of girls in the HCI program and look forward to working with the female gender more. It was than she announced she has a gift for ten girls. Fortunately there were exactly ten initial girls who started the training section so it was strictly their day. Each received a school bag, copy books, pens and pencils together with other school materials. The girls were so astonished that some later asked that they be excuse from practice as they want to run home and inform their parents. Wow, haven’t seen such light in these little girls eyes as they jumped all over the place. Other girls coming in as they received their gifts looked on in admiration. We want to thank Brett and looking forward to working with her closely in her projects.
